What we make

Four snacks with big crunch and bold Indian spice. Here’s what the names on the packs mean.

Makhanamuh-KHAA-naa
Puffed lotus seeds: the seeds of the Euryale fox lotus, popped like popcorn. Light, airy and crunchy, with a gentle nutty taste that takes on any seasoning.
ChanaCHUH-naa
Chickpeas (garbanzo beans). Roasted chana is a classic Indian teatime snack: crunchy, savoury and filling.
RagiRAA-gee
Finger millet, an ancient whole grain grown across India and East Africa, with an earthy, slightly nutty flavour.
Masalamuh-SAA-laa
A blend of ground spices. On a snack, "masala" means it is seasoned with a savoury Indian spice mix.

Good to know

Do you ship outside India?

Not yet. Crunch Theory is launching in India first, on Indian delivery apps and Amazon India. If you live outside India, join the international waitlist on our International page and we will email you when we ship to your country.

What does makhana taste like?

Makhana tastes light and gently nutty, with a crunch somewhere between popcorn and a rice cake. On its own it is mild, so it takes on whatever it is roasted with — from pink salt and pepper to peri peri.

Which country will you launch in after India?

We have not chosen yet, and the international waitlist will decide it: every sign-up tells us where people want Crunch Theory. Importers, distributors and retailers can also reach us through the contact form.

Are your nutrition values in kJ and ounces too?

Yes. Our website lists energy in both kcal and kJ and pack weights in grams and ounces. Packs sold in India follow Indian (FSSAI) labelling; packs for other countries will follow that country’s labelling rules.
